Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Dark mahogany, translucent with a small beige head. Sweet naly aroma, some light notes of chocolate. Taste is sweet, loads of Ovaltine, a touch of white pepper, a touch of gravy. Little bit more balance in the finish. Light body with little carbonation. A very old-fashioned mild.

Cask at PoW Farnborough Beer Fest. The last of my 4 tokens. Aroma had chocolate, camp coffee and malts. Opaque red tinged brown. Creamy frothy beige head develops a bald spot. Sour berry hit. Surpsingly so. Underlying creamy chocolate and coffee. But it's the sourness that dominates. Medium bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Nice enough although I could do with less sourness in me mild.
