Can, medium long lasting bubbly foamy head, clear and quite deep golden orange colour, aroma of orange zest and minerals, herbal flavor with some minerals and a bit of citrus in the back, medium and a bit harsh bitterness. Easy to drink.

This brewdog is acceptable, classical and refreshing sour beer, perfect for the spring and the summer. You get a sparkling side of grapefruit, rather dry, sour, mineral and tart, fruit at the final, 08.05.20

Keg at Dogtap Ellon. It pours jet black with a small, but sturdy tan head. The aroma is rich and unctuous, oily, bitter - sweet, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, rocky road, nougat, chocolate, whiskey soaked oak, saline, maritime vibes, dark roasted malt and mocha. The taste is dangerously smooth upfront, warming, dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet character, more umami than on the snout, liquorice, charred oak, chocolate gateaux, cacao nibs, Irish whiskey soaked oak, some dried fruits, fruit cake, plum pudding and warming booze with a drying, toasty finale. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. What's not to like? A BA stout which isn't a pastry is a novelty nowadays. Well crafted.

Draft at Dogtap. It pours cloudy chocolate brown with a a decent khaki head. The aroma is perfumed, floral, dark roasted malt, charred pine, Terry's chocolate orange, tangerine, pipe tobacco and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, pleasing level of bitterness, dark roasted malt, earthy, cacao nibs, toasted pine, varnish, resin, touch green, weedy, pithy, zesty, grapefruit, orange peel, burnt toast and a nip of alcohol with a dry, piney finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Works well.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Artificial tropical fruit with passion fruit, mango, sugary orange, pale malt, peach. Medium bitter and mild sweet. Medium body. Nah, too artificial.

Can, as Hoppy Christmas. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Some elder, some berries, some herbal notes in the aroma. Medium body, elderflower juice and low citric notes, bitterish. Not terrible, like the extra IBUs and hoppiness, but not a wor either.

In my opinion, it is a regular dark beer, watery, malt, some hop, nice brown body, dry at the final, a bit boring, 03.09.18, at Prélaz.

Keg at Dogtap Ellon. It pours clear deep brown with a decent khakis head. The aroma is earthy roast, toasty, nip of pine, cacao nibs, twist of citrus and fruit pie crust. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, toasty, earthy, wood, brown bread, some toasty spice, coffee grounds, dried fruits and a splash of cola with a toasty finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. Standard easy going stuff.
