Description
Beer creates great excitement. It looks simple, but it actually hides many secrets. Every craft beer causes impatience before the tasting and enjoyment when you are revisiting the flavor. Its diversity of taste, aroma, texture and color is huge, sometimes it seems endless.
We consider ourselves to be passionate gourmets. We are searching for new and unusual tastes, while aiming to offer the highest quality craft beers from the selected ingredients, thus we have created Kabinet Brewery. Our beers are produced in Nemenikuće on a sunny slope at a foot of the mountain Kosmaj.
Our wish is that Kabinet Brewery, as a Cabinet of curiosities(*), gathers in one place all the amazing tastes and smells of the beer world that has long inspired us. Welcome to Kabinet Brewery.
(*) The Cabinet of curiosities or wonders– a collection of distinctive, unique items, all that is rare, strange and precious, the finest handicrafts, natural wonders, usually received and gathered from the exotic travel as an examples of the natural, geological, religious, ethnological and artistic value.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at Borresteijn’s place. Slightly hazy, light red with a white head. Sourish-fruity aroma of sour cherries, raspberries, some almond and a bit of wood. Moderately sourish-fruity taste of sour cherries, raspberries, almond and some wood, followed by a short, slightly tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at Borresteijn’s place, best before August 2015. Slightly hazy, pale amber with a tan to white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a little boozy aroma of apple, almond, cinnamon, vanilla and some caramel. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a little boozy taste of caramel, apples, almond, vanilla and cinnamon, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, moderately warming-alcoholic finish. Bottle at tasting. Golden pour. Aroma of apples and old malt. Taste has some sweet murky apple, sweet malt and mild booze. Bit like an appley old tripel. Interesting, but past its prime I think.

Ruby pour, rose cap. Nose: vinous, vinegar, rosee wine, red fruits, misty notes. Really nice. Mouth: sadly does not mirror the nose. A bit yogurt, not much sourness, only a reminiscence of red wine and cherries. Bummer!

On tap at Samo Pivo pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Pours a semi-clear light amber color, little off-white foam. Nose: roasted, burnt caramel, chili BBQ sauce. Mouth: conflict because of the use of hops and amber malts, not balanced, no flaws as well but far too confusing and chaotic.

On tap at Samo Pivo pub in Belgrade-Serbia. Semi clear orange pour, medium white foam. Nose: citric, a bit forward the malty side, fruity. Mouth: a bit over CO2, perhaps wrong carbonation on tap but ok, onions, sweet fruitiness. Quite nice and refreshing.

330ml bottle, gift from ippopotamo36 (thanks Alberto!). Pours amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma is malty with some hops traces, metallic notes, oxidation, grapefruit. Flavour is a bit better but still messy, medium to light sweet with a decent bitter end. Medium body, medium carbonation. No...

Fruchtiger, trocken grasiger Antrunk. Runder stimmiger Hopfen, der dann aber doch einen Ticken zu trocken ist. Spritzig, angenehme weiche Bitterkeit. 11/10/11/11//11
