Can from AH XL supermarket. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, coffee. Taste: Dense, creamy mouthfeel. Roasted malt, coffee, some chocolate. Hoppy backbone. Medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Full body, just below average carbonation. Nice supermarket beer.

Can from Mitra Assendorp, Zwolle. Aroma is sweet dark malt with notes of caramel, liquorice root, leaves, touch of roast. Flavour is medium sweet with a mild boozy finish. Medium to full body. Pretty good, bit liquorice-heavy for my taste.

Can 33cl. from AH XL Muiden @home poured into a shaker. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, half-way lasting, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, orange, pineapple, herbal hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, orange, grapefruit, earthy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, bit sugary notes, some orange pith, nice.

33cl Blik van AH. Troebelgele kleur, witte kraag. Steenvruchten, redelijk zoet, licht moutig, wat citrus, romig, zacht, degelijke bitterheid nog. Medium body. Prima bier.

Bottle @ Tores garage. Unclear brown body with a small beige head. Aroma of dark malt, peat and some chocolate. Taste has roasted, dark malt, peat, hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Balanced bitterness. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice.
