Cask at The Craven Arms; hazy amber pour with a thin white head, pine and malt aroma, taste has lemon some pine, quite sweet, moderate bitterness.

Cask (handpump) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130125]

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2014. Gold clear lasting white head. Certainly hoppy. Easy drinking hoppy bitter. Grass herb and white pepper hop flavours.

Cask @ The Baum, Rochdale. Lots of sweetness, but the tea reference is very suited as there’s a huge stewed indication of this in its flavour. There’s lots of sugars in this too.

Cask (Free Trade Inn, Newcastle) - Amber/orange in colour. Berries, tea and caramel in the aroma. Blueberries, cherries, tea and caramel feature in the fairly sweet taste. Not bad, but it becomes a bit sickly after a while.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2014. Amber copper colour lasting beige head. I like the spicy rye flavour. Yes it has some hops. Bitter light citrus. Tasty enough. Good bitterness.

Draught (Brigantes, York) - Black with a tan head. Coffee, oats and roasted malt in the aroma. Roasted coffee dominates in the taste with hints of cocoa and liquorice also detected.

Cask (Bridge Tavern, Newcastle) - Golden with a white head. Pine and grapefruit in the aroma. Moderately hoppy taste with tangy grapefruit, lemon and tea.

Cask at Brigantes, York. As Monkeys Love Hops 15. Pale gold, thick white head. Very soapy aromas, which carried through to the taste. Lots of soap, not much malt happening. OK.
