There have been many changes since Gordon Rich started pressing cider apples at Mill Farm, although essentially the production of the juice is still traditional.
We are a family run business producing traditional farmhouse cider and farm pressed apple juice, with locally harvested Somerset apples.

BIAB at William Stead JDW Cider Fest 2026. Bright golden colour, afew bubbles on top and aroma of apple, funk. Taste is appley, fleshy fruit, barnyard funk, orchardy with some drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry funky tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Ha, Jens has this English Somerset cider back in 2022 when I can see it was also added to Untappd. No more rates from RB/or here and only 44 ticks in total on UT, then find it in my local Danish supermarket. This must have low distro which is a shame as this was very nice. Medium sweet and lightly drying with nice crisp apple notes, light funky, only light carbonation, oak wooden accents, medium body, crisp and lingering apple fruity finish. Great supermarket find. Tasty and refreshing after a tough long week at work. Really enjoyed their AF cider as well a few weeks back, nice to get them over here.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Cider#2. WOOL. In the small Dorset town of Wool with its humped stone bridge across the River Frome, first recorded in the 13th century, this cider enjoyed nearby is strong but isn't a problem here, but by the same measure its apple is light, although more stated in aftertaste. Has a mild tang but is more sweet.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Cider#1. WOOL. Found this in the local store after reaching the small village-style town of Wool in Dorset. A stated apple with a lot of tasty sweetness, lots of depth through its hidden-in-taste strength. Loads of apple aroma too. Good but not too much in one go!!!

On tap at Taphouse CPH, pours a clear bright golden, no head. Aroma has plenty of sugars, light mustiness, and a touch of funk. Flavour is lightly musty, with a touch of funk, gentle caramelized sugars, and crisp apple skins. Funky, musty, and yet lightly sugary.
