Bottle at Cotteridge Convention 2018. Hazy cola colour lasting tan head. Some herb on aroma. Some malty flavour. Aniseed and liquorice. Not very hoppy. Sweetish. Not my thing.

Canning date illegible, drunk 3/17/18.
Hazy copper-golden with a white head fading slowly to a ring.
Smells like bubble gum ester with very light mango and other lightly juicy yellow fruits behind it. Lightly vegetal pine and grapefruit suggestions emerge with warming, adding a bit more depth and assertiveness. No alcohol, flaw or resin.
In the mouth it's soft, dry and lightly malty, showing plentiful apricot and kumquat. Tight carbonation completes a near-perfect picture of the texture and there's no resin or other off-hop notes. Bubble gum ester is kind of a bit much at times, but it's hard to argue with the hop flavor and enticing, drinkable texture. Creamy, yet with an appropriate bitterness.

Canned 1/26, drunk 3/16/18.
Clear-to-lightly hazy, deep golden-brass/bronze. White head fades steadily to cover.
Heavily bready and with strong cracker-like notes, as well and actually somewhat sour. Either there's way too much toasted/specialty malt, the hops are too punchy and overdone (or both) or something has gone wrong here.
In the mouth it's super light, thin and quite under-malted, leaving tons of husky bread and cracker, with extremely strong sourdough and a strong graininess on the end. Low carbonation is very loose. Really quite bad. What the hell happened to my can (assuming Mystic wouldn't put out something this bad)? Will have to get another one and try it again.

Canned 1/26/18, drunk 2/10/18.
Heavily hazy, bordering soupy, deep brass-maize-golden. Small white head shows moderate retention.
Mango-cherry-strawberry shows a good mix of both Mosaic and yeast with light marshmallow-like notes filling in behind, assumedly from the lactose. A bit of leafy, green citrus and spice with light pine lingering though not resin or alcohol.
In the mouth it's tangy with lactose softening somewhat but also providing its own light earthy character. Strawberry-cherry-mango is tart, lightly juicy and very fruity. Extremely fruity, juicy, soft and sweet but balanced on the end by dry, biscuity malt, moderate bitterness and good attenuation. Crisp, tight carbonation aids, as well. No alcohol or flaw. As with these milkshake/lactose IPAs, I'd prefer it to be more dry and free of the lactose, but for what they're trying to do here, it's well done.

1,500th US rating! Pours a nice hazy gold from a can. Nice fruity aroma and flavor, mainly tropical fruits, you got your papaya mango etc. good beer.

Poured from can thanks Stacey rich deep brown with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate, bold coffee and light caramel. Taste is nice cold brew coffee, espresso, chocolate and lasts well past the finish. Only complaint is somewhat thin mouthfeel.

16 oz. can shared by Chalumeaux. Flavor of mango, pineapple, candied orange. Maybe a hint of booze. Good juice character, great mouthfeel (maybe slightly chewy). Another nice job from the folks at Mystic.

Fresh can drunk 1/25/18.
Moderately-to-heavily hazy, blonde-golden with a large, white head that steadily recedes to cover.
Some juicy notes in the nose immediately give way to light pine and strong grapefruit. Thankfully it doesn't get horribly resinous, but it does lean pretty heavily on citrus, marmalade, tea and other not-very-juicy notes. Cracker and biscuit behind it with a touch of melon and bubble gum from the yeast. No alcohol or flaw.
In the mouth it's more of the mundane citrus, pine-tinged notes with moderate bitterness, lots of dry lemon, papaya and light pineapple. Biscuit and cracker-like malts with a hint of alcohol and resin on the end and not nearly as much juice character (almost none) as I'd hoped for. Engaging, moderate carbonation and good attenuation, but just overdone on the pine and citrus.
