Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s an unclear, dark amber to brown beer with some small floaties. A small, dense, dark beige head on top. The aroma has some alcohol, with dried fruits, caramel hints and some brown sugar. The flavor has dried fruits, sugar, caramel and some alcohol. It’s full-bodied and slighlty warming, with a pleasant carbonation. Lasting warming finish with sweetness and fruityness. A pretty pleasant one, although a tad too sweet. 140301

Bottle, 75cl corked. An almost clear one, reddish dark brown in color and with a dense, two-finger light beige head leaving lacings. The aroma is quite roasted, with toffee hints and dried fruits. Some dark sugar too. It’s roasted and toffee-ish in the flavor, with dried fruits and sugary sweetness. Full body and a nice carbonation level, soft on the palate. A pretty decent one although a tad too sweet and lacking on complexity. 140301

Bottle at Yespr’s - thanks! It pours cloudy gold with a medium white head. The nose is doughy, light barnyard, flour, faint spice and buttered toast. The taste is crisp, lemon sherbet, candied peel, wood, hay, straw and light yeasty spice. Light-medium body, moderate prickly carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Smooth, balanced and rather drinkable.
