Description
Artisanally brewed in Amsterdam since 2011.
Combining influences from the rich European beer culture with a non-conformist attitude.
From a family heritage of Swedish farm brewers and trained by the masters of ale and porter in England, we ended up in the Netherlands to create our own microcosm in the world of beer.
Inspired by the lesser known sides of European brewing culture and devoted to uncommon artisanal techniques, Butcher's Tears makes distinctive beers that progress beyond fashion and convention.

Bottle date 22/11. Ook weer veel te oud. Gek.

LCI. Veel te oud. Bestel je bij de brouwerij zelf, sturen ze een IPA met canned date 24/7. Het is bijna alsof ze graag slechte ratings krijgen.

#divisional playoffs. Hazy, amber color and a huge white head. Fruity nose, something earthy and vineous, faint yeasty. Piny taste, slightly fruity, herbal bitterness. Old school IPA, but rather light body.

Een triple/saison idd, boordevol kampvuur en turf. Maar wel dat het enigszins past. Rare combi, maar ik kan hier wel van genieten

Clear brown with offwhite head. Sweet, caramel, barley, spicey yeasty, twigs, bark, herbal, juniper. Medium sweet and strong bitter. Feels rough and experimental on all sides, but in the awesome category.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear dark amber with beige head. Massive caramel, soft juniper, toffee, more some, earthy, spruce, flowery. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Solid body. Nice caramel and smoke, not totally to my taste but a very decent beer.
