First, I must apologize to Sun and Stephen. If I’d known this beer was GREEN I would have saved it for the tasting. I mean, it is opaque, solid, fluorescent fucking GREEN. It looks like shampoo. Is that appetizing? Do I drink shampoo?

It smells mostly like grains and alcohol. The flavour is ESL all right - strong alcohol up front, with a mild malt/grain character and hints of slightly mossy continental hop. Finishes off-dry and alcoholic. Not a terribly good example of the type.

If this stuff turns my piss green I will not be amused.

Copper to amber color, creamy head. Very nice fruity hop aroma. Toffee flavor, with a strong bitterness (with some fruitness and resins); just a bit more sweetness would be needed for my taste. Strong and long final. Good.

Hazy golden color. A good APA with good creamy and fruity hops, quite malty, good bitterness, well aromatic, some resins, not much aggressive.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden yellow color mead with loads of carbonation. Aroma of sweet honey with a hint of berry. Taste is reminiscent of bad sweet wine spritzer with weird chemical-like ending. Loads of bubble with a thin body. Suspicious brew from a usually reliable brewer.

Dark brown with no head. Low carbonation. Very vegetal coffee nose. Beany taste with slight roast. Thin malts try but fail to back it up. Timmy Ho’s.

Bottle courtesy of CBA: Poured a green (neat color agent) color pilsner with a nice pure white foamy head with some very good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of crisp hops with some nice floral notes. Taste is dominated by some nice semi-sweet malt with some floral notes and some nice refreshing crisp hops. Body is full for the style with some great carbonation. Very well done and a nice one from this inconsistent brewery.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2007) Amber colour, slightly cloudy, with brief beige head. Fruity nose with notes of grapefruit, slightly sweaty character with very fresh hops (dry hopped?). Fruity taste with apricots, grapefruit and a fresh, dry-hopped character in a medium long finish. Not very bitter. Fresh and nice.
