Description
Started brewing in November 2007 using two brewing facilities. A 6BBL plant was located at Castle Meadows Park, Abergavenny. A second 2BBL plant was located at the Kings Arms, Abergavenny. Brewing ceased in 2010 but restarted in late 2011. During Autumn 2012 all brewing relocated to their current address.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Tudor Black Mountain Stout ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, moderate to heavy chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, roasted, glat, fruity, malt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160218]

[ As Tudor Winter Cheer ].Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, toasted, spicy, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, caramel, spicy, spicy bitter, cinnamon - nutmeg - ginger. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160219]

GraviCask, thanks to fonefan for sharing at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Dark reddish brown body, unclear. Faint lacing. Clove and ginger aromas. Ginger and dough to the taste buds. Mid-sweet. Drinkeable (Derby 19.02.2016).
