500ml bottle from Newport Food Festival drunk at home. Aroma is basically a crisp, frosty autumn morning. I know that sounds a bit queer, but it is. Has a haunting bitterness that follows you round your palette, soft hops and quaffable character. I’ve never used the word ’quaffable’ before, and not really sure I’ll use it again. Nice beer tho.

Deep golden brown in colour and has a delightfully smoked taste despite an aroma that doesn’t suggests this. It’s also slightly sweet.

Bottled. Hazy pale golden, brief head. Fresh citric hoppy nose. Dry and light, crisp and fresh. Hugely drinkable with pleasant hop aroma. Unusually good bottle conditioned light golden ale.

Slightly hazy amber beer. Semi dry palate. Low carbonation. Nice balance of hoppy fruit with a sweetish edge ans mildy smoky malt. Finishes semi dry with a small amount of spice. Decent.

Bottled. An amber beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, but also with an acidic edge, leaidng to a dry and bitter finish where a note of vegetables show up. Slightly flawed.
