Cask @ Manor House, Oxen Park. Clear dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of berries, dark fruits and malts. Taste of dark fruits, toffee, caramel, some chocolate, red berries and citrus fruits. Moderate bitterness. Low carbonation. Satisfying creamy mouthfeel. A lovely pint.

Cask@The Great British Beer Festival 2022 (Days 1&2) - Toasted malty and twiggy hoppy, some caramel and toffee sweetness, medium body, soft cask carb, bitter hoppy close.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 1, 02/08/22. Light golden amber with a decent white head. Nose is dusty fruits, grains, straw, hedgerow. Taste comprises caramel, brown bread, biscuit, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough bitter.

Bottle. Nose is malt yeast and hint of citrus. Taste is pale malt, citrus, grapefruit, slightly soapy sharp lemon and herb finish.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is just a general sweetness – maybe some malts lingering. In the motuh it starts off sweet and malty is biscuit flavouring. After a while that turns to butterscotch , and later still to an old style bitterness. Finish is dry and slightly bitter. Drinkable but Inoffensive

Bottle from Hawkshead Post Office, Hawkshead. Golden with a very small head. Easy golden ale, hoppy with a very mild sweetness.

Can from Beer GB. Appearance - golden with a big creamy white head. Nose - brown bread and lemon. Taste - orange this time, with digestive biscuit. Palate - light bodied, tangy middle and a dry, tangy finish. Overall - a solid citizen.

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Clear, redd-ish, dark amber colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Floral hoppy and mellow, minimally toasty, malty aroma, notes of petals, a touch of orange blossom, a weak touch of chocolate cookies. Taste is slightly toasty, mellow malty, minimally nutty and slightly dry, floral hoppy, notes of petals, a touch of orange blossom, diluted hints of milk chocolate, chocolate cookies. Watery texture, smooth, soft, silky palate, fine and soft carbonation. Nicely hopped, nice subtle malty flavours, good balance - good.

Cask at Hops, Crewe Pours a golden yellow with a generous white head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly lemon with some caramel. It the mouth the sweetness is pronounced with honey and citrus plus traces of malts and spices. A dry finish with some citrus. Quite pleasant.

Panda to home, thanks to SHIG, 29/07/20. Clear golden blonde with a thin white cap. Nose is pale malts, grass, lemon drizzle, biscuit, stale dog piss on the carpet. Taste comprises pale malts, very weak lemon squash, grass, damp cardboard. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light drying close. Pretty weak affair.
