Bottle. A gift from Totnes. The person not the place. He’s a fine fellow. This is wank though. Smells of butter and wet paper. Taste is pretty rank. Dry and slightly sour. Thin and dry overall. Yeah. Wank. Imagine selling shit like this and hoping you’ll get away with it.

500ml bottle from Gilliam's deli in Ulverston. Pours brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, raisin & malt. Medium body. Hint of sweetness in the light bitter finish.

500ml bottle from Gillam's in Ulverston. Pours a very dark brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of dark chocolate, coffee, burnt cornflakes, burnt caramel, fruit cake, sweet toffee & malt. Medium body. Mild bitter finish. Enjoyable

Thin off white head on an unclear pale golden coloured body. Caramel & berry aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a tingle on the back. Citrus, apple, marmalade & pale malt tastes with a zesty peppery finish. Easy drinker.

Large rocky white head on an unclear pale golden coloured body. Fruity, newspaper & grain aroma. Medium bodied, foamy sharp & clean. Malt, grapefruit, pine, & bitter citrus tastes with a pithy finish. Very refreshing.

Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of lemon, biscuit and butterscotch. Taste is more of the same, custard creams spring to mind. Sweet finish.

Bottle from Beer GB. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of grains and light orchard fruits. Taste is grainy, some lemon, light caramel. Thin finish.

Bottle from Booth's, Kendal. Chestnut coloured with a thin off-white head. Quite fizzy. It's a malt-led beer with a little chalk up front, some brown bread and a little caramel. It's fine but dull.
