About
Trillium Brewing Company was founded by JC and Esther Tetreault, a young dumb couple in love, planning their wedding and dreaming about how they would spend their lives together. The desire to build a brewery was about more than just making beer, it was about creating a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. A beer geek and botany nerd, JC chose the trillium flower to represent what we strive to bring to our beer and our lives: beauty, strength, simplicity, and balance. We operate a brewery and taproom in Canton, MA as well as a full service restaurant and brewery in the Fort Point neighborhood of Boston. We also operate seasonal pop-up beer gardens around the city of Boston under the Trillium Garden project.

Bottle thanks going to Eric A. on this bad ass brew. Aroma of garlic, scallions and leafy green hops giving a stinky weed dankness. Flavor is just flat out good! Starts with thick juicy fruit that turns into a mildly danky weed, onion and grassy hints. The texture turns dry that has a very refreshing, crisp finish. Limber Galaxy hops that has a very low bitterness level. Damn, this is awesome....

Thanks guys for sharing. Hazy Orange, almost no head. This was a 750ML picked up today @ Trillium. The aroma is stupid crazy good. Tangerine, grapefruit, special super duper awesome juicy fruits. Taste is great. You get a really good melding of grapefruit, tangerine and other fruits. almost no residual sweetness. Good sweet taste. Incredibly clean. almost no booze at all. delicious overall.

Bomber, 2 days old. Very hazy bright orange with a 1 finger big bubbly head. The aroma is insane. Insanely juicy galaxy hops, tangerine, citrus, grapefruit and a little sweet bread dough. Taste is great. Mouthfeel is good but not a juicy or bright as I was expecting. It’s herbal, juicy, grapefruit and tangerine. Really interesting beer and absolutely delicious.

Bottle shared in Bermondsey - thanks to Bruce. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Light rindy lemon in the nose, some dry pale wood. Light sweet flavor with sturdy pale wood, more citrus rind, crusty white bread, very subtle tartness. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, fairly dry, more woody dryness, some hay, lemon rind. Solid.

750 ml bottle shared by Sara W. Dated sticker reads 12 / 2014. Pale gold color with thin head in a Trillium snifter. Aroma is dried hey, clove, light yeasty Belgian notes and a touch of alcohol. Flavor is about the same with the alcohol showing a tad in the finish. The palate and texture become very dry after sipping. The glass went down easy without any problems.

Aromas of citrus, a little caramel, floral notes, orange zest, a bit of stone fruit. Tastes of grapefruit and orange citrus, tropical fruit, floral notes. Medium body with a semi-dry finish. Medium carbonation, juicy mouthfeel. Tasty variation on the regular version.
