Handpull cask at the Plough, Worcester. Mid- to dark gold and mostly clear with a loose ring of white head and spotty lacing. Light aroma with honey, pink grapefruit, lemon curd. Taste is hop-filled, very medicinal and considerably bitter with littleclet-up throughout. Fills the mouth toward the finish. Full oily body, soft carbonation. Works really well.

Handpull cask at the Plough, Worcester. Very, very, very dark brown, only a touch of translucency, with a smallish khaki/tan head. Light notes of gritty chocolate malt, earth, ash. Taste is quite bitter with bitter cooking chocolate and a touch of salt coming to the fore. Long and intensely bitter finish. Bodyโs a bit thin, but itโs a modest ABV so not all that surprising. A good cask stout.

18/6/2022. Cask at The Duke of York, Ipswich. Had a couple of pints of this at the Duke on a leisurely father's day afternoon out with the family. They know how to spoil me. Decent effort from Mighty Oak. Poured clear deep golden with a small frothy/creamy pure white head. Nice aroma of citrus, light tropical fruits, pineapple and grass. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Easy drinking. Enjoyed this.

Cask at the Elephant, Faversham on 30th April 2022. Clear gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Zesty peel aroma. Grassy and citrus hops in-mouth and a finish of blended fruits and grassy hoppiness which begins to take over as the finish evolves. Very well kept.
