On cask at Euston Tap. 4.5%. Hazy mid gold with lasting white. Very lively in the pour. Its not great. Some esters. Its ok ish but not really my thing. Some hop sting on finish. Bit of dirty muddyness in there. Bit dirty. But otherwise the english golden ale / saison mix doesnt quite work.

On cask at Euston Tap. Now you either like sorachi ace or you dont. I quite like it so i am different. I like the green flower hop taste. I like the dryness. I like the unusual flavour. But you do have to make it quite intense or it can end up quite flabby. This is pretty intense for a 3.8% beer. Good fullness in mouth. Finally someone else who understands that you just cant throw a whole load of hops at a beer without having a sufficient backbone. Likeable if quite hoppily aggressive

Cask at the Euston Tap, London. Pours a just slightly cloudy gold with a tight, white cap. Aroma has a lovely yeast character to it with subtle notes of spices, coriander. Medium sweet, plenty of yeast, mild lemon zest, faint grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Dries slightly in the finish, there’s some slight dough, sugar, grass. Excellent beer, super satisfying.

On cask at Euston Tap. Orange gold with a slight haze and thick beige head. Wheat beer estery aroma. Juicy in the mouth with rose petal and peach flavours. Quite an intense perfumed hefe. Juicyness is a surprise. Some hop sting on finish. Really interesting. Bit bizarre. Some green apple. Certainly not dull though. Odd hefe

Cask-conditioned at the Colston Yard, Bristol 28/7/2011. Slightly hazy, deep gold in colour. Aroma of grainy, slightly sweet malts, citrus, apple and pepper. Flavour began with some brief, tangerine sweetness, before some tart apple, yeastiness, green herbs and a dryish finish. Another good beer by BBF.

Cask at CPK, London. Pours black with a faint head. Good roast in the nose, some raw hops. Lightly sweet flavor, roasty, more natural-tasting hops, grass and earth. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Lingering grass in the finish, more roasted malts, earth, some moderate sugar. Overall impression of heavy, raw hops, which I do enjoy.
