Another hop forward sour. I was impressed with the first, this one isn’t bad either. Draft pour pint at Malt and vine. Clear golden pour with an active fizz head. Hops up front in the aroma wi th some lemon sour fruit. Flavor is wheat forward, moderate hops and a tangy citrus. Listed here as a berliner weisse, which I’m no expert, but I would certainly agree. A ton of wheat and mild tart fruit here. Overall a tasty beer.

Dark with minimal head. Thinner body than expected. Medium roast, light coffee, some salty notes, earth. A full pint of this was a bit much but it was tasty enough.

Bottle share at Mr Smith’s Stratoflat. Clear deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin malts bring mild cream and a bitterish toffee. A little dried fruits and a touch of bitter floralness. Light dry finish. Passable.

Bottle shared in Lpndon - many thanks to Kenny. Pours clear red with a creamy tan head. The nose has light pine, ripening berries, bread. Light sweet flavor with some earthy and piney hops, toasty bread, dry toffee. Light bodied with average carbonation. Simple finish, more toasty bread, pine, berries. Fine.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, caramel, toffee, cocoa, raisin, oily and light spice. The taste is toasty, earth, wood, twig, caramel, watery and cracked pepper with a short, dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit weak and wishy-washy. Meh.

Bottle at GBBF. Thick, yellowish, creamy, lacing, frothy and very stable head over a deep orange blonde, almost amberish beer, darker and more red than average for the style - red IPA? Aroma of strawberry, lots of tangelo, pine resin, grapefruit peel, passionfruit, green tea, mango, caramel, toasted pine nuts, baked banana. Cleanly fruity and malty inset, bit toasted and biscuity like the amber colour already announced, fizzy but smooth with exotich fruits retronasally as well as a deep grapefruity and piney hop bitterness, very long, very aromatic but harshly bittering as well, resiny with some minerally saltiness, abrasive, very herbal and lasting for a long time. Quite an agressive IPA, but I liked it.
