Sample at GABF 10/13/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking.Pours a slightly hazy amber-orange color with a medium off-white head and strings of lacing. The aroma consists of hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruity hops, sweet malt and a bit of pine. The finish is hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Above average overall.

Draft. Clear amber color, medium white head. Aroma of orange peel and pine resin. Taste is bitter orange, straw. Not bad.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a touch hazy, dark copper appearance with an off white head. Spicy, slightly vinous, pear, lemon, grapefruity aroma. Chewy, tangy lemon, grapefruity, light caramel, a bit juicy, bitter flavor. Not all that great. Not sure what Ratman was drinking but it does’nt sound like what I had.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a bit hazy, dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Quite spicy, herbal, grapefruity hoppy, somewhat thick malty aroma. Somewhat chewy, grapefruity, sappy, bubblegum, mildly piney, thick flavor with a pretty balanced finish. Good carbonation and overall a nice beer.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a hazy, a bit darkish orange appearance with an off white head. Quite herbal bitter hoppy, light citrusy,a touch dank, somewhat spicy aroma. Somewhat spicy, prickly carbonated, zesty, somewhat chewy, bready, herbal, light citrusy flavor. Maybe should have had this a bit more fresh but right now it’s a bit boring.

Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pours a clear, dark reddish orange appearance with a nice khaki head. Somewhat spicy, grapefruity, a touch resiny hoppy, toasty caramel malty, inviting aroma. A bit sweet, spicy, pretty potent juicy, herbal hoppy, somewhat spicy flavor with a somewhat dry, earthy finish. Pretty easy to drink. Not a bad addition to the Colorado market.

Bomber bought at Super 1 in Post Falls, ID. Pours hazy orange with a medium off-white head that collapses into a skiff after a couple minutes; leaves a little lace. Aroma is biscuity. Taste starts out lightly sweet before finishing dry and bitter. Crisp, clean and simple. This is a no frills quaffer.
