Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear coppeer with a moderate, white foam head. Tangy fruits and toasty dough in the nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, more tangy fruits, some overripe orange, toasty dough, faint plastic, subtle leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, tingly carbonation. Zippy on the finish with further fruit tang, faintly toasted malts, wet grass and leaves. Nothing special, and slightly odd.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Copper with a loose cream head; fruity, malty, aroma; soft and fruity in the mouth with a malty body; and a gently bitter finish. Rather boring.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 18/8/2012. Copper coloured with a moderate, off-white head. Aroma of caramel with a hint of marmalade and leafy hops Flavour was also sweet, with some bready malts, toffee and a decent, bittter finish. Ok.

Cask@GBBF2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, caramelly, nutty and mild herbal notes. Flavour is bready, fruity, wooden, mild earthy and herbal notes along with some slight nuttyness.

Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. its got a bit of orange fruit. Some drying hop. Some marmalade. Its ok. Marmalade flavour is pleasant.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 4/8/2012. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Sweet, caramel and berry fruit aroma with a sightly tart edge. Flavour was also sweet and bready, with a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask, gravity from Red Lion, Islip, Oxon, Sunday 22nd July 2012 Pours reddy/amber with a smattering of white bubbles. Fruity and tangy with a bit of candy. Middling bitterness but a little bit bland. It’s ok. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask (gravity) @ The 17th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2011, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a small to average, frothy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, nutty, chocolate, keller - earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, earthy - keller, old malt, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110430]
