From cask. Pours pours orange with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light caramelish and breadish. Bitter, toasted malty and light caramelish. Dry breadish. Bitter and light herbal into a bitter finish.

Cask @ Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2013, at the University Social Club, Mill Lane, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England CB2 1RX.Clear medium to dark amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, sweet malt, light roasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. IMO. borring but nothing wrong - just borring ! [20130119]

Cask at Baxter’s Court, JDW - London. Pours lightly hazed good with a fine, creamy head. Nose carries some lightly tangy citrus, doughy pale malts, hints of dried leaves. Light to medium sweet flavor with cheap bred, some more tangy citrus notes, light bitter leaves. Light bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Sweet finish with more bready pale malts, some further citrus, hints of plastic leaves, lightly bitter. Ah, it has been awhile aince I have enjoyed the comforts of a shite JDW beer!

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sharp, malty, keller - nut peel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120807]

Caramel brown, clear, thin white head
Aroma - caramel malts, slight hint of chocolate(?), rather sour fruits
Taste - yeasty, caramel malts, touch of earthy malts, some fruity malt, hint of raisin, whole thing is muddled with a bit of sourness, odd
Palate - soft carb, thin for 4.7% beer, tinge of sourness on the palate. Finish - as main flavour, caramel, sour bitterish linger
Overall - Mediocre. Comes across as an amateurish brew
