Bottle from the brewery. Golden-amber with a white head and a light fizz. Reasonably full-bodied. Fruity and smokey up front with a hint of lemon and a mild twiggy bitterness in the finish. Better than I expected; I like the smoke although I'm not sure that it's meant to be there!

Aroma of butter, caramel, grain, malt and fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body. Floral, earthy, bitter finish. Not keen, too buttery.
