Can from LCB, consumed 7 months in date. Pours a hazy golden brown with small white head, minimal retention. Aroma of neapolitan ice cream, grapefruit, wafers, light earthiness. Taste has grapefruit, lemon drops, barley. Medium body, bitter and fairly dry. It promises a lot in the aroma but only half delivers flavour wise. Decent though.

Can from LCB, consumed 5 months before BBE. Fairly hazy dark gold with small white top, minor retention. Earthy, floral and bready aroma - has that typical rustic character you get from Moor. Taste is sweet with biscuit, pithy ripe citrus, flora and herbs. Light bodied, fine carbonation. A bit disappointing considering the rates on here - there is not much to it. Maybe its far superior on cask or I got a poor batch.

440ml can from Ladram Bay Holiday Park. My 100th Gloucestershire rate. Semi-hazed to murky amber with off white head. A very rustic dense tasting malty bitter with brown bread, cocoa, earth, sugar. Light to mid-bodied, drying. Has flavour but to earthy for me to really like it.

Can from Beer52. Pours a murky light brown with thin beige top. Aroma of modest dark malt, light brown bread, sugar, coffee, some earthiness. Taste of malt, bread, chocolate, fruit. Its light bodied with a thinness to the flavour even by mild standards but I did like the fruity and light bitter finish.

Can from Beer52. Pours a near black with small tight beige head which lasts nicely. Aroma is roasty, dried fruits, chocolate, slightly yeasty and earthy. Taste is very moreish being sweet, roasty, lots of chocolate, dried fruits, tangy fruit and roast bitter finish. Well balanced. Medium bodied, smooth, fine carbonation. A very good session porter.

Can from Beer52. Pours a murky light amber-brown, small white head, some retention. Aroma has a fruity citric, earthy, some spice. Taste is earthy, citric and pine bitterness, caramel, nuts, fruity grapefruit and mango in the middle, some spice. Medium bodied, semi-dry. I was just expecting another reasonable earthy Moor offering. However this one improves on repeated sips to become very tasty, some complexity to this and more balance than I first thought.

Can from Tick Beer. Pours a cloudy gold with white foamy top. Citrus, apricot and some zesty notes n the aroma. Taste is zesty and piney with some pithy orange fruitiness, some marmalade. Light to medium bodied, fairly high carbonation but seems to work well with the ABV. Nice.

330ml can from Honest Brew. Muddy brown-amber, small off white head, nice retention. Looks different to your average IPA which is not a bad thing. Aroma of bready doughy malts, blood orange, floral and grassy notes. Taste has that typical down to earth Moor beer style, earthy hops and malt focused. Its semi-sweet, doughy malts, grassy, tangy citrus zest, the blood orange flavour comes through in the finish. Medium body and carbonation. I was expecting more flavouring but its subtle which on one hand is nice that's its not gimmicky but on the other is there enough hops to make this a good IPA? I'm not sure although it is a nice enough beer.

330ml can. Cloudy amber-brown with small white head. Malty aroma, quite doughy, touch of caramel; not bad. Taste is a nice balance between malts and fruit notes with caramel, bread, berries, grapefruit; good. Light bodied and refreshing. Pretty good.
