Pigs Ear. Bottle. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, some dark chocolate and dark chocolate cream. A little earthyness in the mid. Spicy Calvados brings up the back end. Fresh estery apple and boozy apple liqueur. Finishes smooth, semi dry and spicy. Nicely Calvados BA, only minor complaint is the base beer feels Stoutish. Nice job

Bottle shared at Pigs Ear 2022 - day 1. Big thanks to Kenny. Pours black with a dense, creamy beige head. Medium sweet flavour with ample dark malts, some apple, dark berries, burnt wood, ash. Full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine, massaging carbonation. Warming finish, more dark malts, barrel, berries, apple. Tasty sauce.

Tap, full pint at Moor Beer Vaults, Bermondsey. Muddy golden colour with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, tropical impressions, pear, fruit juice, red berries. Intense. Taste is bitter. Medium body. Drying fruity finish. Excellent IPA, usual good Moor quality.

Tap at Moor Vaults London. A mostly clear orange golden coloured pour with a fading white halo . Aroma is lager, earthy grains, grassy hop, bitter, light apple. Palate is dry crisp grains, grass, high gassy carbonation.. Flavour is composed of pretty generic lager qualities, earthy grains, grassy hop, fizzy, light apple, sileage. Disappointing.
