Can from Beer52. How great to have a stout that's not choc full of adjuncts and flavourings! And this is an absolute cracker. It's black with a tan head and a thin fizz. It's viscous and oily on pouring - the body is more like an impy than a standard strength stout. It tastes smoky and roasty with lots of black coffee and creamy chocolate and a light note if Ribena. It's sweet, but with a mild bitterness and dryness that stop it from being too sweet. It feels like a rich indulgent late night beer and yet it's very easy drinking and satisfying and strangely sessionable. Frankly it's superb, I love this beer and want Moor of it!

330ml can, 2018 vintage. Pours black with a beige head. Lots of whisky in the aroma, very peaty, dark chocolate. Taste is heavy on the whisky, very peaty, chocolate, iodine, boozy. Medium bodied. A bit weird, too heavy on the whisky, a bit harsh.

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. 2018 vintage. Pours opaque amber, unclear, with practically no dual. Aroma is toffee, woody, malty. Body is thick, with average carbonation. Taste has quite an alcoholic tone, with a good balance of intense sweetness and bitterness. Final is pretty long with medium intensity of bitterness.

Thin beige head left an unclear reddish brown body. Caramel & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & minimal carbonation. Caramel, berries, fruity & malt tastes with a hoppy finish. I've not had a pint of Cask Ale for 15 months but this does taste like the real thing to me

[33cl can from Beer52.] A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a tight white head; apricot aroma; tropical fruit taste with some orange and mango; and a pleasantly sharp fruity finish. Clean and refreshing.

Can @Sam Beer Shop (Rome). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca medio-leggera, non molto persistente. Al naso note agrumate, di arancia, leggero citrico, erbacee. In bocca è morbida, equilibrata, con spunto amaro finale medio-leggero. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Ok.
