Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a rustic looking burnt amber to orange sort of color with a thin white to off white foamy head that dissipated at a level pace. Mild lacing ran here and there.
The aroma starts off with a malty sweet rye and then opens up into some subtle grassy toned hops. Sour \"brett\" tones help to balance decently. Sly wheatiness close to the end.
The flavor starts off sweet with a the rye and the grassy hops and then seems to be interjected by the \"sour\" Brett-iness over the wheat. Decent sweet to semi-spicy aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a crisp semi-sweet to glossy sour/Bretty harsh sort of grip over my tongue. Ample bitterness overall hitting all around.
Overall, I’m pretty sure Zero Gravity did everything they wanted to with this beer. I’d say do-able and worthy of coming back to.

On tap at Three Penny Taproom, Montpelier, VT.
This was poured into a snifter.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a sly transparency about it. Subtle carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace.
The aroma starts with a ton of sweet pear and iced apples. Belgian spices and coriander try to assist in the balance. Nice Belgian sugary malts blend finely.
The flavor yields to the sweet contour of the Belgian sugars. Spices make a good effort but lean to the back slightly. Subtle Belgian sweet aftertaste forwarding into the finish nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fair sessionable to sipping quality about it. Mild carbonation.
Overall, good tripel for the most part. I could have again.

On tap at Three Penny Taproom, Montpelier VT.
This was poured into a flared tulip.
The appearance was a muddy burnt orange almost brown color with a good finger’s worth of white foamy head. Dissipates mildly and leaves some stringy lace here and there.
The aroma yields to a crisp Belgian sweet to spicy coriander to Apple spice to bready malts. Some sticky pear. Sweet to semi-bitter grassy-like hops.
The flavor marries it all together, bringing about the spices and the bready/yeasty Belgian malts to gloss over and slide on into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a great sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation felt good all around.
Overall, pretty nice Belgian ale that I would have again.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange almost amber color with a nice transparency about it. Sly carbonation runs steadily up. Foamy finger’s worth of white head. Dissipates nice and even. Moderate lace.
The aroma picks up a sly malted biscuity sweetness rolling on into some light earthy to grassy hops. Sly butter-ed honey underneath.
The flavor yields to the malts crisp and sweet, subtle grassy hops come back to balance or try to at least. Biscuity malty aftertaste rubbing against the finish appropriately.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Good fairly low carbonation. Mild malty smoothness.
Overall, good ESB for the most part. I’d be willing to have again.

The flavor leans malty sweet. Biscuity to cracker leads into the aftertaste and on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Mild carbonation. Malty smoothness rolls over my tongue.
Overall, pretty good Dunkelbock, I think I could come back to.
