Draught at Worthy Kitchen, 3/18/16.
Deep golden-orange-copper body shows a moderate-to-light haziness and small, off-white head atop with moderate retention.
Smells the part for sure. Freshly dried herbs, fresh cut grass and some very light citrus. Sweet biscuity malts work their way in but don’t get too intense. Quite clean, with no alcohol.
Pretty straightforward noble hop character in the flavor has all the makings of light lemon, thyme, pepper and various other herbal qualities. Bitterness provides just enough balance to the lightly sweet malts, which add a nicely rich honey and light baked bread notes. Good attenuation and ample, mostly tight carbonation. Not the malt richness/complexity of the very best German examples, but pretty damned refreshing and satisfying. No idea how someone found this "way too sweet". It certainly is not bone dry, but then it’s not supposed to be.

On tap at Growler Garage.
Sample glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy golden yellow color with no head nor lacing.
The smell had some crisp sweet corn adjuncts. Light breadiness.
The taste was mainly sweet with the breadiness rousing a light biscuitiness strolling about. Light sweet bready aftertaste. Smooth finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed to be good for me.
Overall, I liked it for the most part. I’d have again.
