Bottle. A big, off-white head forms over an orange colored body. The aroma is quite yeasty, in a good way, with citrus peel, some resins and pale malts. A spiced touch too. The flavor feels a bit too sweet, guess it’s just the full body that does it, because it doesn’t taste sugary and it’s actually quite dry on the palate. There’s pale malts, some herbal and peppery hints and nice bitterness towards the end. Lasting fruity and citrusy finish. A bit too much body in this one, but it’s a fine brew anyway. 150228

Bottle. An unclear, orange-golden beer with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is on the citrusy side, with orange peel and a touch of lemon peel. Resins and pine cones too, and a little bit of malty sweetness in the back. It’s full-bodied and semi-dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, both initially and in the finish. Grapefruit, orange notes and pine cones. Lasting bitter finish. Quite nice and tasteful this one. 150228
