Pours clear dark brown without a head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, red berrries, alcohol, dried fruits and a hint of chocolate and oxidization. 500 ml bottle. Clear, dark brown body with a nice beige head. Nice aroma with dark malt, chocolate, toast and some dry fruit. Flavor is balanced sweet malt, mild roast, coffee and good chocolate, slightly spicy and medium bitter. Fine body and good aftertaste. This beer has a really nice balance for its low ABV, and pretty tasty as well. Nice.

Small brown head. Opaque black body goes deep dark brown at edges. Earthy roasty chocolatey aroma with mealy notes. Dry-sweet earthy roasty mealy taste with resiny fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel, maybe a bit flat. Dryish earthy mealy cold coffee aftertaste with wooden sooty notes. Lovely clarity and depth of flavour. A very good beer. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen. I think it says batch no 74.)
