Description

Bottle, shared by Rune. An unclear brown beer topped by a small, beige head. Roasted aroma with coffee and some brown sugar. A bit sweet on the palate, with coffee flavor and a pleasant bitterness. Roasted malts too. Mostly roasted finish, with sweetness at too high levels. A decent one, nothing more. 140214

Bottle, shared by Rune. An unclear golden orange beer with some floaties. A small off-white head on top. Yeasty and fruity aroma. Peaches and some oranges and pine cones. Super smooth on the palate, but a bit thin. Oranges and peaches in the flavor, lacking some on the bitterness. Long fruity finish with some bitterness. There’s certainly room for improvements here. 140214

Rerate, 500 ml bottle, batch #215, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Pale straw colour, huge white head. Moderate aroma, nice notes of spicy yeast, I'm upping it a few points. The flavour is fairly refreshing with a slight spiciness and fruitiness, otherwise fairly bland. Minimal bitterness. Original rating: Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Batch #6. ABV is 4.6%. Hazy golden colour, moderate to low head. Weak aroma, slightly yeasty, a hint of fruit. Tolerably refreshing flavour when cold, a hint of citrus, but otherwise uninteresting.

Unclear golden. Not much head. Aroma of boiled vegetbles and canned maize. Unfresh. Minor hints of hops. Waterish. Probably (or hopefully) not meant to taste like this.

50cl bottle. Pours hazy golden with a small, white head. Mild fruity aroma with malt, yeast and hints of caramel and hops. Moderate sweet and quite mild in flavour. A bit strange, but drinkable enough.

28.10.2013, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice slightly bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of sweet, caramel malts, almond essence, grass, alcohol, raisins. Taste is kind of sweet harsh grainy, caramel malts, wet grain, almond essence, sugar, harsh hay. Medium bitterness, kind of metallic finish. Did someone say sour ale?! Pretty close to undrinkable. In fact, I find myself getting kind of "sick" when drinking this, almost wanting to vomit....
