Appearance: Black color with a fine beige head that gives a lovely lacing on the glass.
Aroma: Balanced and nice! Coffee, mild roasted and chocolate.
Palate: Medium + body. Balanced mild sweetness and an ok bitterness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Balanced chocolate, coffee and a bit roasted.
Overall impression: A really pleasant and fine stout!

50cl bottle at Parkteatret, Oslo. Pours black with a nice and lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with dark fruits and notes of coffee and chocolate. Moderate sweet with nice, roasty flavours, a hint of sourness and a light bitterness. Medium+ body with a fairly average carbonation. Surprisingly pleasant@

Flaske fra Matkroken Stokka: Dyp gylden med flott skum. Humlearoma blandet med noe karamellsødme, kanskje litt fersken? En vellykket ipa med passe bitterhet (fra amerikanske humler?), rund munnfylde og fin snert i ettersmaken. Et "kjølig vinddrag" som passet godt på terassen denne varme julidagen!

On tap @ Kick. Unclear orange body with a small off-white head. Aroma is light malty with caramel, citric fruit and lemon in particular. Flavor is quite smooth malty with fruit and a certain bitterness. Medium body and aftertaste. Easy drinkable, quite nice actually but not really an IPA in my book.

From a 500ml bottle, picked up at Meny Oslo City. Firm, bubbly, tan-coloured head resting on top of a jet black body. Fragile lacing to the glass. Inviting aroma of dark chocolate and cocoa. Roasted dark malty taste with coffee grounds and herbal hops. Malty bitterness to the ending. Fine bodied. Velvety smooth on the swallow. A tasty, well-made stout (watching World Cup football on TV at my hotel room in Oslo, 20.06.2014).

500ml bottle bought at Meny Oslo City. Solid, bubbly, off-white head with fine duration and spotty lacing. Clear amber coloured body, hazy last pour. Aroma of apricot and floral hops. Well balanced taste of earth, leafy hops, mild honey sweetness and caramel leading to a dry bitter finish. Medium bodied. A well-crafted ipa (hotel room, Oslo 20.06.2014).
