Bottle. Real Ale Shop Branthill. Hazed copper gold. Nice messy swede. Tangy malt. Tangy hop. Good balance. Tasty easy drinking affair with a nudge of spice. Bet it’s ace on cask.

(Bottle) Pours black with tan head. Gentle pleasant aroma of dark roast grain and coffee. Medium body with good bright carbonation. Nice taste with good balance between dark roast notes and some tart and sweet notes. Coffee, dark chocolate. Very enjoyable and surprisingly refreshing for a stout.

Bottle shared in Watford - picked up from Pigs Ear. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Medium sweet, notes of English yeast, sun-kissed pale bread, dried honey, a little hay. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more dried biscuits, pale grains, nips of grass and lemon rind. Nice overall.
