Bottle shared in London - cheers to Danny. Pours deep brown with a foamy, beige head. Tangy dark fruits in the aroma, modest roast. Medium sweet flavour, some ashy roast, tangy berries, earth, leather. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Scorched bitter earth finish, baking cocoa, dried leathery berries. Novel.

Can. Hazy gold with a white head. Aroma of mandarin, unfocused tropical fruit, bread. Medium bodied with what at first seems like a creamy texture. Not all that clean and creamy gets on to slurry-like Fruity on top of vague bready malt. Bitterness is moderate. A shrug-of-the-shoulders sort of a beer. Disappointing.

330ml can. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, mostly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty and slightly fruity hoppy aroma, dusty yeasty overtones, hints of caramel and white coffee, some hazelnut, vanilla and strawberry. Taste is sweet-ish, roasty dark malty, notes of hazelnut, white coffee, caramel, puffed rice, wafer, strawberry overtones; minimally watery passages. A bit like Neapolitan slice.
