(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 25 Nov 2022) Dark amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty nose with nuts, caramel, apricots, dried fruit and toast. Malty taste with notes of caramel, nuts, dried fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness.Tasty and well made bitter. Nice one.

Keg at The Evening Star, Brighton, East Sussex. An orange/amber coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Fruity, malty, caramel, pine taste and aroma. Nice resinous IPA from Iron Pier.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 Nov 2022) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with apricots, peaches and orange. Fruity, malty taste with notes of peaches, citrus, orange peel, bread, tropical fruit and a balanced citric/grassy bitterness in the finish. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing, with a nice hop profile. Soft and mellow, still quite hoppy, and highly drinkable. Very nice.

Cask at the Waterloo Tap, 10/05/23. Almost clear pale golden yellow with a white cap that retains well. Nose is melon, grass, orange peel, floral whisper, grains. Taste comprises tangerine, soft malts, grass, melon, citric tinged straw, orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with mellow hop bitterness. Decent enough easy drinking cask pale.

Cask at the River Ale House, Greenwich on 7th May 2023. Hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Hoppy citrus aroma. Citrus fruitiness in-mouth, and a grapefruit finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body.

On tap at The Made Inn Ashford. Hazy light brown amber colour lasting white head. Pine resin grapefruit aroma old school west coast. Earthy pine. Pink grapefruit. S9me bitterness on the finish. Decent enough west coast ipa. Earthy.

Can from The Green Goddess, Blackheath. Orangey brown pour with a beige head. Nose is toffee apple, oak, barley sugar, white grape. Taste is spookily similar to the above. Quite the cockle warmer. Boozy sweet spicy flavours leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle from The Green Goddess, Blackheath. Black pour with a tan head. Batch no. #132/360. Nose is dark chocolate, bourbon, Jamaican ginger cake, cocoa. Taste is liquorice toffee, bourbon, dark chocolate, ginger, cola. Nice hit of bourbon and caramel coming through in the back end. Very tasty brew.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April 23. Deep hazed gold appearance with a large white head. Seemed eager to leave the can. Aroma of mild doughy yeast. Red wine barrel aging does come through, as does the cider lees though the saison yeast doesn't seem to sing the high notes. Could be more harmonious, not convinced the cider lees and red wine barrel compliment each other, but it's an interesting sipper.
