Backlog from 2014 KØLF tasting. Unclear pale golden body with a small white head. Amazing aroma of pure green pepper, green chilly and just a hint of malt and fruit in the background. Flavor is really hot chilly and green pepper, totally dominating everything else. Medium body and aftertaste is a burning sensation. This is a novelty of a beer, totally out of balance, but who would expect anything else with a name like this. It delivers 100%.

A nice beer. A bit sweeter than belgians, but clean and super drinkable for the abv. Twisted pine Boulder

Incredibly hot. And in an overly black pepper kind of way. Clean beer underneath, but it’ll destroy your palate. Twisted pine Boulder

Comes across a little too harshly black pepper for me. If it was toned down and balanced more, it could be great. Twisted pine Boulder

Not really a mead, it’s a cross. But it’s super clean and smooth and mild. Hits all the proper notes and subtleties. Twisted pine Boulder

Has a clear spice to it, must come from the beans. Very dry, clean and crisp. Almost cold brewed-like. Twisted pine Boulder

Listed as Monk Water, it has a clear apple cidery taste. But is clean otherwise and decent, but not typical of belgium. Twisted pine Boulder

Gabf silver. A good isa, clean, light, drinkable, yet bittered to style. Nice hop combo. Twisted pine Boulder
