2017 Backlog. Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish deep gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Grassy, piney hops with some citrus and orange zest in the nose and marmalade notes as it warms. Caramel and pine on the palate. Medium bitterness. Clean and balanced.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of foam that dissipates. Lemony grass nose with some Belgian yeast character. Spritzy carbonation on the palate. Slight grainy texture, mildly tart. Lingering pepper and light woody brett notes. A bit thin on the palate, but enjoyable as a petit saison. --- Beer merged from original tick of Surla on 18 Aug 2018 at 00:38 - Score: 7. Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo. Pours a clear deep copper to brown with a finger of foam that dissipates. Toasted caramel and milk chocolate aromas. More caramel and dark chocolate cookie flavors. Booze is hidden fairly well. Good sweet toffee flavors, but perceived dark chocolate cuts the sweetness and balances this beer well. Solid stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Snowbeard on 01 Jul 2018 at 11:17 - Score: 8

From can. Hazy yellow body under a large, foamy head. Smell is kind of faint, but there's a hop an alcohol nose, like a junior 90-Minute IPA. Taste seems a little less than described for some reason. I just get dryhop bitterness, with a very faint note of citrus and pine. Pouring the rest of the can into my glass reveals some bits of yeast sediment. some nice warming alcohol. Maybe this is an older can, it was on special, but it's just not much of a much to me.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear copper with a finger of head. Very floral tea, earl grey forward nose. Smooth with more tea on the palate, bitter iyokan pith and light caramel malt.
