From can. Hazy yellow body under a large, foamy head. Smell is kind of faint, but there's a hop an alcohol nose, like a junior 90-Minute IPA. Taste seems a little less than described for some reason. I just get dryhop bitterness, with a very faint note of citrus and pine. Pouring the rest of the can into my glass reveals some bits of yeast sediment. some nice warming alcohol. Maybe this is an older can, it was on special, but it's just not much of a much to me.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a clear copper with a finger of head. Very floral tea, earl grey forward nose. Smooth with more tea on the palate, bitter iyokan pith and light caramel malt. Lingering bitterness, simple but straightforward. --- Beer merged from original tick of Lord Skylark Pale Ale with Earl Gray Tea on 15 Apr 2018 at 18:58 - Score: 6. Very nice American brown, a good melding of cocoa-caramel malt notes with moderate citrus from the hops leading to a dry, piney back end. Hints of sweetness turn to mild dark fruit acidity, and the finish provides a lingering hop bite. Lovely pour come out a dark brown with red edges and massive lacing. Cocoa-pine nose is a nice touch. Creamy feel makes it way too easy to crush this beer.

Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a orange gold with a lot of floaties and a finger of white head that lingers. Orange, grapefruit, slight earthy aromas. Sweet on the palate, malty, bitter piney, pithy orange hops. Sweet finish, boozy. Wanted to like this more. --- Beer merged from original tick of Adjective Animal on 01 Jan 2018 at 14:38 - Score: 6. On tap at Flying Saucer, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out dank hops, with a dry biscuity malt base. Flavour is similar, with dank hops, some weed, and dry biscuity malt. Dank and potent, but a little too abrasive.

Can from Trader Joe's. Pours a clear, straw gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Grassy nose with lots of golden malt, grain and slight skunky notes. Kinda too thin and watery. Light sweetness and minimal bitterness. Want more body and bite on the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tiny Bomb on 20 Dec 2017 at 19:56 - Score: 6.
