Bottle from Whole Foods - Lamar. A little bit of a gush, then pours out with a nice, fluffy head. Cardamom overpowers the aroma and taste, hints of licorice/anise. Nice feel and flavor, although spice pushes this more towards a Saison in taste.

Tap at Craft Pride. This in is a little off in hard to describe ways. Malt and bitterness do not combine well. A little harsh.

15/II/16 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle shared by Nate @ Struise Schooltje - BB: n/a (2016-161) Thanks to Nate for sharing the bottle!
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: banana, fruity, rather sweet, roasted, caramel, some coffee. MF: lively carbon, medium to full body. Taste: roasted start, bitter, banana, hoppy, some coffee. Aftertaste: caramel, very bitter, some vanilla, little sourish, boozy, hoppy, dry finish. There's absolute no reason to put so much alcohol into this beer... The taste doesn't justify it.
