Pours a hazy deep yellow under an average sized white head. Juicy malts and citrus hop aroma. The flavor is slightly bitter but there are plenty of sweet malts supporting the hops in this. Pretty decent APA.

Sample at the Decatur Craft Beer Festival. Dark brown with a medium, beige head. The aroma is bread, toffee, and light floral hops. Tastes sweet and a little spicy. The palate is light to medium, grainy, and a clean finish. Overall, this is a good, flavorful, and refreshing beer. Excellent, for an American dunkel.

12 oz can Pours a slightly hazy yellow, clearer than most Hefes. Generous head of white that disappears too quickly. Sweet perfume aroma of honey and banana. The flavor is sweet. Good body. Smooth.

Can at HD1. Poise a near clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a musty pine/grass note with backing earthy grains. Flavor begins with a good amount of grassiness with some earthy grains and just a hint of pine bitterness.

12 oz. can. Pours a light, hazy gold with a big, fluffy, white head and good lacing. The aroma is bread dough, bananas, cloves, and honey. The flavor is a mellow, balanced blend of bready sweetness, orange peel bitterness, and a little spice. The palate is light, creamy, and a little flat. Overall, this is a great tasting, well balanced beer, but the mouthfeel is a little lacking.

Can from Bruisin Ales. Pours hazy dark gold with a slight white head. Aromas of light floral and grass. Med minus body. Flavor is light floral and arguably grass. There’s not a lot of intense flavor here. It does finish bitter though, but it’s not one for hop heads.

Bottle. Earthy roasted malt, light molasses, and dark fruit aroma. Brown with a small tan head. Dark roasted malt ... roasty, grainy, malty flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Very enjoyable malty beer.
