Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol JDW, Bristol 24/1/09. Amber coloured with a lively, off-white head. Aroma of biscuit malt, slight hint of caramel and floral hops. Flavour had plenty of chewy malt, some fruity, leafy hops and a decent bitter finish. Drinkable.

Cask Conditioned at J.D. Wetherspoon - Hamilton Hall, London
Golden to amber color. After a mild caramel aroma, comes a very good caramel flavor, partially sweet and a bit fruity, sugary; refreshing and well pleasant.

Cask at Englands Gate, Bodenham, Herefordshire 01-01-09. Poured dark amber. Good robust bitter, a wonderfully simple typically english bitter with nice earthy hops, good solid maltiness and a decent tangy bitterness. There was some citric qualities but it was the slightly old fashioned bitter characteristics that appealed to me most. Good beer. A6 A4 F7 P3 OV14 3.4

Cask at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester, Oxon 06-07-08 Classic amber pour with a thin white head. Nice malty slightly fruity nose. Taste is really good, simple fruity and malty bitter, really very tasty, drying towards the end, enjoyed this a lot.

Cask at the Woolpack, Banbury, Oxon 28-04-08 Pours mid amber with small white bubbly head. Tastes really fresh, pleasantly malty, some smooth fruitiness to it. This was a really decent beer that I could have happily supped away on all night.
