Bottle from The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, 11.09.10 consumed the same day. Pours amber with an off-white head. There is a slight sourness on the nose, touch sharp and I fear signalling worse things to come. The taste confirms my suspicions, fruitiness immediatley giving way to an acidic sourness, infected and nigh on undrinkable, down the drain for you matey boy. Btw I have thrown the bottle and so the abv is a best guess. A3 A3 T3 P1 Ov6

Cask, handpump at the Four Candles, JDW, Oxford 02.09.10 Pours more amber than gold in my opinion, with very little head to speak of. Initially I quite liked this, it was fruity, with some hoppiness showing but then I got the impression that this was a little tired and maybe a touch past it’s best with a slight sour toffeeiness starting to show.
