Description
Commenced brewing in 2000 as Spinning Dog, also brewing Flannerys Beers after their closure. Changed name to Hereford Brewery in 2010.

Bottle @ Autumn Tasting, Ulfborg 2011. Pours clear yellow with a small egg white head. Yeast, cabbage, raw grain . . heavy phenolic. Quite nasty.

Bottle. Clear deep golden with small white head. Aroma is malt and a little earth/skunky. Flavour is malt, skunky, earthy, hops and medium bitter.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, malt, fruits, perfume and hops. Taste is a little off.

Cask@JDW Sir John Oldcastle, London. Ambery golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some floral and fruity (sweetish) hoppy notes as well as some wooden notes. Flavour is wood, herbs, quite floral and also quite bitter in the finish.

Cask. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemon, and hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Cask at the Wetherspoons at Victoria Station. Amber with a rather scummy looking beige head; malty aroma; rather thin with a sweet grainy malt flavour; and a biscuity finish. A rather average bitter.

Bottle. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, malt, hop, chocolate. Flavour is coffee, rosted malt, hop, chocolate. Medium body. OK beer.

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Golden amber with a tight cream head; fruity aroma with a touch of apple and raspberry; fruity flavour with some crisp apples, and a tart finish with some nettles and grassy hops. Good beer, good cause. Unfortunately no distractions here.

Cask (handpump) at the Darlington Spring Thing Beer Festival. ABV is 4.0%. Medium dark brown colour, low head. Moderate nutty and slightly roasty aroma, also notes of chocolate. The flavour has also some mild roasty notes, malty with notes of chocolate.
