Caskhandpull at Blakes Dover. Copper brown clear. Thin disappearing off white head. Not great to be honest some bleach flavour in the middle with some biscuit on the finish. Could be better. Otherwise its a not very bitter bitter.

Cask. Pours cloudy, orange-gold with a soft, off-white and foamy head. Banana and spice in the nose with some yeast and dough. Has medium sweetness with notes of banana, clove and honey, plus a lightly bitter touch. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and fruity on the finish with light spice and yeast. Nice beer.

Warning! Early amateur rating! A bitter and somewhat dusty ale. Others said hoppy but I couldn’t see it - just bitter - no hop fruit.

Half, cask at Standing Order (JDW). Naturally cloudy, amber body. Naked surface. Aroma of plums and apricot. Cloves and sweet citric, ripe fruits in flavour. Notes of fruity yeastiness towards the ending. Very much on the sweet side (Edinburgh, 29.11.2010).

Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Cloudy amber with a ring of white head - somehow looking rather flat; typical weisbier aroma with damp wheat and cloves; quite thick and grainy in the mouth, almost like drinking a banana smoothie; dry and spicy finish. A pleasant weisbier.

Cask, handpump at The Babbington, JDW, Derby, Derbyshire 06.11.10 This is a hazy pourer as I expected. Some banana, touch floral, bit of clove. This is far better than I expected but then perhaps it’s because I was drinking this alongside the Thwaites Ribble Rouser (truly boring) and The Freeminer, Hairway to Steaven (Dad took this back) Spiciness as well showing in the mouth. It’s fine. A6 A3 T6 P4 Ov13 3.2

Spoons Fest! Very hazy gold beer, Gost of a head. Smooth very low carbonation palate. Mild banana, a little cloves. Fair bit of wheaty malt. Tiny bit of orangey citrius before a smooth finish. A little more carbonation would have been nice but decent enough.
