Tap @ Kafe Belgie. I think this one should be renamed to ’Razende Swaen’. Hazy orange colour, small white head. Aroma is of citrus. Flavour has yeast, citrus and orange. Very drinkable!

Bottled. I drank this beer from the bottle (maupie rulez). But I really missed the piece of lemon in the bottleneck. Beers like this really should have a piece of lemon. It makes you look so cool, when you drink it then. Anyway: Fluorescent golden yellow color. Malty aroma, some grain, corn, faint hops. Slight bitter taste, malty. This beer does not want to be organic in my opinion, it wants to take part of the market of the ’popular’ beers of Desperado/Corona/Brahma for 16 year-olds.

I had this once on draft in Kafe Belgie. Can't remember exactly what it tasted like, but i thought it was a decent blond beer. Bit spicy. Nothing special.

Head gone in secs; beer colour of slightly hazy pineapple juice. Nose as from sourish grain (sour mash?), bit spicy and perfumey. Coriandr-ish, but no coriander used, it seems. Terribly clashing flavours; liquorice, crude bitteringhops, again coriander (?), citrussy-sourish. The beer desperately seeks balance, that is totally absent. Bit burning MF. Medium bodied at best. I have to say that the former owners’ De Leckere beers were more to my taste. Maybe they sell better these days, but it won’t be to the likes of me...

Bottled. Hazy yellow color, short frothy lacing. Aroma of some citrus, slight hop, hint of coriander indeed. Bit dry and crisp taste, slight citrus again, slight bitter and slight sweet. Ok balance, certainly for a beer of De Leckere, which usually are a bit unbalanced. Quite ok.

Slim white head over fully hazy yellow beer with greenish shine, loaded with UFO’s. Pale malt nose, faint pineapple aroma, bit spicy. Very dry taste, wholemeal flavour, touch spicy. Yeast gives just a tad of bitterness, but all in all very demure, with a light acidic character. Rather light body, giving a spritzy impression despite no visible carbonation. Another perfect try to prove that organically/biologically concepted (conceited?) products MUST be tasteless.Earlier Rating: 1/4/2004 Total Score: 2.8Hazy peach colour; slim white head. cookies, gingerbread, sauerkraut (!), bit of alcohol in the nose. Tastes quite oxidysed. Little but sharp sourish edge, part wheat-like, part, well, infected. Also some citrus. Relatively light bodied. Bit of dry-out effect, indicating indeed tartness. Something went awry somewhere. Bio is in, but quality is not yet synonymous, it seems.

Hazy yellow beer with greenish shine, oversaturated; end of bottle solid yeast; bumpy white head. Gassy nose, spicy, grain and citrus. Suggestion of coriander, even when this is not used. Very dry, bitterish taste, grainy and wheaty but not sweet. Finish is sourish (wheat). Very strange, but the bitterness is welcome, if a tad harsh. Light bodied, spritzy, refreshing. Nice witbier, with a very limited wheat, and even less coriander character.

Thanks bierkoning, Edo! Hazy orange nut-brown color, small off-white head. Glue-like grainy aroma. Sweetish, toffeish, diacetylic flavor. Liquerish palate. Feels almost infected. It doesn’t feel 10 % either.

Bottled. Hazy orangeish nutbrown colour, not much head. Aroma is very glueish alcohol, yeast, raisins and fruits. Flavour is very sweet fruits, malts and quite glueish. The alcohol is very disturbing in this one.
