Bottle, 5%. Spicy coriander aroma. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. The flavour is slightly sweet with a little coriander to it. OK citrus notes, but also cardboard. Hint of sewer/vomit flavour. Medium carbonation, only the bare minimum for a wit.

Bottled as "Herfstbok" (BB 12/2008)
Dark ruby color, small beige head. Aroma has ash, sweet dates and toffee. Slightly sour flavor. Some roasted maltyness and tobacco which is mixed with molasses. Grassy hoppy with bitterness in the finish, a bit spicey but not specially coriander spicey (which was used here). Not "a real bock" as this is an ale and as such closer to Dutch dubbels than German style bock.

Bottled (BB 09/2008)
Dark ruby red color, small firm creamy off-white head. Aroma has dates, molasses, brown sugar, roasted bread and chocolate. Quite light and straightforward taste for being an ale. A bit toasted malty, some sweetness and late bitterness and sticky alcohol. Although this is "an abbey dubbel", it is a bit similar to Finnish Christmas Viennas, just a bit more bitter in the aftertaste.

Bottle. (as Uteregs Blond) Unclear, golden-orange body with a small white head on top. Papery and lightly spicy aroma with sweetness as well. The flavor is much the same, but there’s also some hops there. Medium body. As far as I remember, this papery blond is the poorest I’ve ever had. (070331)
