Bottle at home, light hazy golden beer, small head. aroma is malt, sweet, yeast, citrus. Taste is the same, yeast, citrus, hops. ok

Small if persistent just off-white rim over muddy purplish redbrown beer. Acids (lactic/acetic), a sour cherry aroma, sour banana (if that makes sense), other grains, lots of fruity esters. More of the same grain, Oud (cherry)Bruin in the best way. Sweetish-sour, fruity flavours and a lot of oak. Acidthinning and (light) -burn, yet quite (fruitlike)slick, reasonable carbonation (certainly after 5 years of barreling!). Wow! Only: this tasts to me as Oud Bruin, all Dubbele Gersten impressions so far where substantially different, and I cannot deem which is closer to the historical style. But anyway, Johan/ABC, please give us much more of this!!

Goudgeel licht troebel bier met mooi stevig schuim. Smaak is kruidig en fruitig met iets van nootmuskaat, wat banaan, appel, een beetje citrus en honing. Heel goed!

Dorada, nebulosa. Buena espuma, cremosa y de estupenda duración. Rico aroma lupulado frutal, mango y mandarina sobre todo. En boca es refrescante, paso facil, bien de gas. Excelente sabor lupulado frutal sin extravagancias (pese al nombre) y con un amargor contenido. Mucha fruta tropical. Mango, coco, piña…. Excelente ipa

Cerveza de color castaño muy oscuro, opaca, luces una corona de espuma beige, cremosa de media retención. Su aroma desprende notas de malta tostada, chocolate negro, ciruelas secas, uvas pasas, nueces, caramelo e incluso cierto recuerdo a café...En boca es sedosa y dulce de entrada, trago muy equilibrado, final ligerente amargo y seco, sabor similar a su perfil aromático. Una belgian dark strong de libro bien hecha y muy agradable de degustar.

Bottle @ Bier Central, Antwerpen. Dark brown, close to black body under a big tan head. Aroma has dark malt, chocolate and hint of spicy Belgium yeast. Taste is quite typical sweet and spicy Belgium ale with malt, biscuit and hint of brown sugar. Quite nice.

bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma beige pannosa persistente, colore ambrato velato, al naso lieviti belgi coriandolo zenzero frutta a pasta gialla, in bocca frutta a pasta gialla biscotto coriandolo zenzero, corpo leggero, carbonazione forte, amaro moderato. bottiglia 33 cl, bel cappello di schiuma nocciola fine persistente, color marrone/rubino, al naso vino Porto miele frutta candita uvetta sotto spirito zucchero di canna marzapane, in bocca uvetta sotto spirito prugne secche zucchero bruciato spezie malto tostato una punta di liquirizia, corpo strutturato, carbonazione moderata, bel tenore alcolico, media secchezza, dolce con amaro moderato.
