Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, some roast as well as mild yeasty notes. Flavour is yeasty, some toffee, mild spiciness as well as some chocolate and sweet malts. A bit thin as for the palate, but otherwise very nice.

33cl Fles van AH. Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Zoet-bloemig, bergamot, poedersuiker, esters, licht fruitig, ergens tussen een Tripel en Chouffe, licht alcoholisch. Medium body. Degelijk.

Flesje gekocht in België en gedronken met familie. Diep donkerbruin bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Aroma van gebrande mout en hout. De smaak is moutig en zoet en ietwat rokerig. Nasmaak is wat kruidig.

Huge dense white head, stable, over totally opaque pale yellow beer, quite carbonated. Sweet, perfumey, Body Shop-like aromas, floral, other grains, rosepetals; a pinch of lime, Lindenblossom, lavender. Childrens' sweets, marzipan, fake grape bonbons: more perfumey, you die. Quite slick, very carbonated, medium bodied; the alcohol is completely hidden. Seriously?? Really?? Anno 2022?? Johan, go back to Moortgat and sample what Hedwig is doing these days.
