Description
Beavertown was founded in 2011 by Logan Plant, the son of Robert Plant, singer with Led Zeppelin. At first established as a brewpub in De Beauvoir Town, East London as part art of the Duke's Brew and Que experience. Expanding means moving! In 2012 to Hackney Wick and in 2014 to Tottenham Hale.
In June 2018, it was announced that Heineken would be buying a minority stake, so that Beavertown could spend £40 million on a new brewery and visitor site. The new brewery was launched in 2020, with a capacity of 500,000 hectolitres, a ten-fold increase in their previous capacity.
As of 7 September 2022 Heineken has taken complete control of Beavertown and now has 100 per cent ownership. Founder Logan Plant will stay on as an adviser.

Can from a London supermarket, drunk after learning the F&$@ chord (and maybe as a result of it). Light gold, small head, mild nose of dank pine and light citrusy caramel. The body is quite decent for a session beer, thin but not watery. Mild flavor and bitterness doesn't overwhelm the taste buds and it's pretty well balanced.

Can from Tesco and drunk at home. I loved the original version. This is clear gold colour lasting white head. Aroma of blood oranges but not overly strong. Light malt bill. Oranges in the flavour. Deep oranges. Some bitterness on the finish. Very drinkable. Not as intense as the original or my palate has been melted down over time Finish builds. Citrus orange aroma as it opens up more. Not as intense and I feel the malt is lighter. Ok

Can from a supermarket in London, drunk at home whilst watching Severance. Light yellow straw, moderate head, pineapple lemon nose. Lots of that plus melon on the tongue, tasty and decently balanced. Lupulin piney notes. Just a bit of harshness in the hop character after taste but it's pretty good overall.
