Keg at BD AGM. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, papaya, mango, guava, orange muffin and fruit salad sweets. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, juicy, bready, orange muffin, papaya, mango, minerals and marmalade with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fresh and juicy.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Blonde with a thin head. Has a dry raw hopped taste with lager malt also prevalent, which is tasty enough for its style.

Bottle from Thirsty, Cambridge. Consumed on site. Very dark brown, slightly translucent. Chocolate malt, liquorice, cinnamon, ammonia in the nose. Sweet, rich and malty taste with a hint of umami. Burnt caramel in the aftertaste. A sublime lager.

Bottle from Thirsty, Cambridge. Consumed on site. Somewhere between golden and straw. Lightly cloudy with a wispy white head. Orange peel and kumquat aroma. Full, heady and sharp. The bitterness in the taste underlies the sip from start to finish, starting gently bittersweet and fruity, moving to a pronounced bitterness, and finishing more balanced with a tempering malt note... and the final finish is long and bitter. Gentle carbonation. Yum.
