Bottle at home, picked up from cotteridge wines. Aroma is tangy apple, feresh cereal grains, sharp lemon , hay, and a hint of smoke. Light hazed bright golden yellow coloured pour with a steadfast frothy white head. Flavour is composed of fresh cereal grains, pils, damp hay, tangy lemon, slightly herbal hop character and background apple notes. Palate is semi sweet, semi sweet, highish, soft frothy carbonaiton. Assertive bitterness. Interesting lager.

Bottle at James’s, thanks to mein host, 26/03/16. Chestnut brown to amber with a well appointed beige cap. Nose is juicy hop, bitter orange, toffee, light pine, straw. Taste comprises airy malt, toasted brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, earthy hop. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid flavoursome hoppy brune.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, light yellow with a creamy, white head. Restrained aroma, with notes of dry pale malts, pithy lemon, hay. Light sweet flavour with pithy citrus, lemon rind, mellow grapefruit, pale bread, straw, biscuit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and lightly pithy to finish, with more dry and biscuity pale malts, light pithy lemon, peach. Tasty stuff, if a bit restrained.

Light-medium sweet flavour with more tangerine and peach, bread, light grapefruit. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Neatly balanced to finish, with sweet and juicy citrus, pale bread, white grape. Nice one.

Bottle shared @Mad for Beer (Rome), gift from Massimiliano (thanks guy!). Pours golden with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, mango, light onion, malt, nice! Flavour has a medium to high malt profile, medium sweet with a medium to strong bitter end. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Wow!
