Panda from Colin. Danke. Opaque amber. Foamy white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a vinous edge. Dank basement elements. Flavourwise it has sweet fruit but the vinous and citrus sourness are just as prominent. Some candy sugar in there. Underlying malts. Medium bodied. Slick to oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. I like. Hits the spot.

Bottle at home, from HOTM online, 26/10/2025.
Murky orange topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is tarte citric shreds, brett well evident, damp straw, funk, barnyard, yeast flicker.
Taste comprises lemon rind, herb, citric tinged straw, grass, lighter brett than the nose suggested.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness and a balanced bretted edge.
Tidy.

A slight haze, golden colour with an amber hue, a whitish head, decent retention and foamy lacing streaks. Some banana-wheat nose with the fruity kumquats, some Belgian yeast and hints of lime juice. Some nice slow carbonation. The taste has nice, light dryness to cut the sweetness found in the aromas. Still getting a little wheat, the fruitiness, but some nice pepper lingering. Quite a nice "Hommage" to the Unibroue Fin du Monde 30th anniversary.

(Draft at Muted Horn, Berlin, 19 July 2025) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of toffee, chocolate, dried fruit and oak wood. Malty, slightly vinous taste with caramel, dried fruit, oak wood, raisins, prunes and a mild herbal bitterness in a warming, slightly boozy finish. Full body, sweet. Rich and tasty. Very nice.

A deep dark stout with a thin creamy mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark coffee, light vanilla, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark coffee grind, musty character, light barrel notes, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at l'autre oeil.
